Teacher — Conroy Irish Dance Academy

The school is run by Tom Conroy and he is accompanied by his Fiancee and senior open dancer, Sinéad Pender.

As of 2024 Tom has been involved in Irish dancing for nearly 28 years. His competitive accomplishments include placing 8th in the world championships and 5th at the North American nationals. He then went on to have a successful career touring with various shows such as Gaelforce dance and Dance Masters as well as living and performing in Dublin for many years. He started the dance school in 2014 and had success with one student placing 4th in the W.I.D.A world championships before making the big leap to join AN CHOMHDHAIL.

Sinéads love for Irish dancing goes back to childhood but unfortunately wasn’t able to attend classes. Shortly after meeting Tom she started classes as an adult and it was obvious she had a natural talent for it and has since gone on to compete at an open level standard and at world championships. She helps Tom in classes with some of the dancers and offers another perspective as well as an amazing supportive role for dancers and parents alike. She is pictured here with their youngest daughter Éireann.
